El antiguo y primitivo hospital de pobres y peregrinos, de aquí la advocación de Sant Jaume, fue construido en el año 1547 y ha sufrido muchas modificaciones hasta llegar al magnífico centro sanitario del que disfrutamos en la actualidad.
